Magnetized HSP Nozzles

We have four 4796 machines, and I have not yet seen this problem. By chance did You check to see if the Nozzle Storage Plate is magnetized? Just a thought. Hope this helps.

Make sure chips (some Resistor contain nickel,or A-42 (Fe-Ni)leads made like SOT-23, etc )some time they also are magnetized and get attracted by nozlles tips. rgds

We have been given a factory quote for Nitro upgrade on Omniflow 7s. It sounds like a pretty major undertaking, with a couple of factory Techs on site for a few days to do it. Nothing I would like to jump into blind. Be carefull, Good luck.

This is somthing that you should have the techs do it will not only save you time because they know the short cuts.the help you get trying to understand the proccess is in valuable.

As with noclean flux, OSP will fill your probes with crunchy [maybe gummy] stuff. Consider: * Increasing frequency of probe maintenance * Talking to your probe supplier about alternate probes that self-clean better
