Does anybody know much about or had any experience with Samsung pick and place machines, in particular the CP45FV, CP40L and LV. They seem a cheaper option, but apart from the agents we cant find anyone with much to say about them.

Dear all, Does anyone know where I can purchase a wave soldering machine that must be well-known and can support 24" x 24" PCB size? Or much larger than this size is required. Any suggestion will be appreciated in advance. Best Regards, Wilson

Wilson, I'm sure both Electrovert (electra?) and Soltec have machines in their rangs that will open to this size... Out of interest...what type of board is it?

Wilson: John is 100% correctamuno. Consider checking the wave solder machine survey on the "Circuits Assembly" magazine site to see how the various suppliers compare.

Jason, it looks like you have several options that have strong promise of working. I suggest you perform a designed experiment to find/optimize the best solution with these suggested approaches. Ron

Gary: That's curious. Tell us more about your process steps, temperature profiles, paste, warping of the board without the PIH processing, components, etc

We are developing a SMT Process FMEA as part of a "Green Belt/Six Sigma" project. We have searched the web and not found anything that is specifically helpful. Does anyone have a guideline or similar document they might be willing to share?
