Nope, I agree Russ. (Except for Siemens being garbage - there's a lot worse out there!) We run Fuji CP6E's and they are bombproof.

We are aware of no such standard. You need to determine the acceptable level for your product in its use environment.

We use "SFDM"-- Shop Floor Data Management... We have just recently started using it so I don't know any specifics on it. Do a web search on Shop Floor Data Management and there should be a web site. Hope this helps ....

Hi, Is there a company that provides training for the BGA X-Ray Inspection Criteria? Or where can I find articles or any docs about this aside from IPC 7095? regards, Dreamsniper

More importantly...... How is it going to be measured? Who is going to measure? Who is going to enforce implimentation? The whole issue is a time bomb waiting to explode.

Control the temp during removal and re-use them. Do not exceed reflow parameters during removal. They should be good up to around 5 reworks. My opinion Russ

Have anyone experience with temp.profile for selective soldering?Could you give me more information about that? Thank you!

Hi John, We have been selective soldering for about two years. My suggestion is to use the same guidelines for preheat, duration and temp as you would in wave. Your flux manufacturer should be able to provide you with the details. Good Luck Chris
