We have temporarily switched to an RTV for the vibration reincforcement, but it is not compatible with acrylic conformal coating and we really do not want to switch conformal coatings to a silicone based. Additionally we are testing the product in h

Hi, Use nitrile or latex gloves for handling your product from your pre-coating cleaning step onward. In my opinion, conformal coating should be isolated from the rest of the factory floor. I'm not saying you need a clean room or even a white room.

There are some good suggestions here...reflow pallets, and copper balancing. We would also suggest verifying that your problem is not caused by moisture. How much time passed between first side and second side reflow, and how humid is the environme

Are you controlling humidity in your plant? I'm not familiar with that particular paste, but some pastes are sensitive to a humid environment. We also had one paste supplier send us a batch that had excessive solder balls if the boards were printed

What size frame are you using and what thickness and size is your stencil. I would ask your stencil vendor for their positional accuracy over 20-36 inches x-y. We have the capability also to make a photoplot in a controlled environment and over lay i

It depends, but I'd guess that as a minimum the floor clock will start when the component returns to room temperature. It's easy to argue that the floor clock starts earlier than that!!! Probably, the floor clock starts a couple degrees lower than th
