The machine will allow more functions other then > power off, forgot to press reset button. Any one > know what ESC 3 means? Promise me 3 peanuts and a book of matches, and i will try to find out. I mean, are you still having the problem?

During production the machine Cycle Alarm ESC 3. When cycling power the error shows up again during a zero set after performing the Z1 zero set. When it errors out on zero set the only option that the machine allows is to power off. Thanks in advance

Oh, IP2, holder 3 is not making the sensor that confirms it is up far enough for the X2 to move. It may even be just timing.

You can't mix different Generation machines on the same base, but other than that, there shouldn't be any issue having different generation machines on the same line.

How about rework (touch-up) for Class 3? Some say that you are not allowed to rework anything for Class 3. Though I have not found any proof for this 'requirement' in the standards.
