What sort of components are missing? One possibility is moisture sensitive parts outgassing during reflow. The jets of steam propel the parts off the PCBA. Another thing to look at is your convection oven fan speeds. On some ovens this is adjustabl

Normally some random components of size 0604 or below and may be due to a thermal mass being close like a transformer or AC electrolytic caps. We tried changing fan speed, but this will change the thermal profile and avoid the thermal mass from bein

This is a penalized board, 21 up. I tried rotating it 90 degrees and got better results but still had more than have blown out of place. We are looking in to getting the option of speed control for the fans. That is a good suggestion to run on the me

No problem if you get the tilt head option. Also depending on the geography you can just lift the nozzle up and the spray pattern will fan out more. The software is really good, i think you'll be impressed.

Hi guys, I'm working on a design involving a 223-pin BGA with 0.5mm pitch (ball size 0.3mm) with a 16-bit DDR3 controller involved. Currently routing a track between two balls is resulting in a track width of 0.1mm and a spacing of 0.077mm. Now the

You are coming up against the no of tracks vs density problem. There are basically 2 solutions, more layers so you can get 1 track between each pin as it exits the structure from underneath the IC, say 3 rows of BGA is 2 layers, 5 rows is 4 layers et

Are the zone fans all working? I have had some odd temperatures when a fan starts to go out.

Grant, The Fuji's looked good. However, the pricing and warranty is not competitive for their comparable machine. In addition, we are not a big fan of Fuji coming out with new feeder designs that are not backwards compatible. The first generation of

The only x fan i can think of would be the x belt motor fan which is on the back of the black box sticking out of the back of the machine. If it's a heat issue then first thing to do is replace the 2 filters behind the 2 vented covers located on the

Hi Sound like the same problem that i had. The machine after it had warmed up when initialising would drive the z rod down with the quadalign on checking for the nozzle height (I think). To me it seemed like an overheating problem as after allowin
