Hi, I am an Engineering student doing some research on the component/nozzle interface on SMT Pick and Place machines. Could anyone tell me the force at which the nozzle hits the component as it is picked from the feeder or the placement force on a

Also depends on how often you will be running the machine, at what speeds and how long you want it to last. If you're going to thrash it 24/7 and want it to last 10-20 years then a turret chipshooter will have less maintenace downtime, and be a lot

Find out your maximum feeder loading (number of slots taken up, not number of feeders - 8mm, 16mm, 44mm, waffle packs tubes etc), and your likely long term max feeder loading (ie what is in the pipeline, or could be). Next find out your required run

I am using the AVK and am VERY pleased with it. One thing to keep in mind is incoming tape and reel has to be pretty exact. The parts are going into a feeder and if the width varies too much you'll have problems. After we got control of Tape and reel

Jason, I dont know anything about samsungs but in relation to CP6 I could not praise it enough. Totally reliable,as fast Industry requires, consistent, easily maintained, plenty of feeder locations ,very wide component placement capabilities...... aj

Hi Colin, Yes there are such machines available, new prices start at around $10K. You can also have a taping house sort out your current stock & buy in taped for next time which would be far cheaper (However pack quantities will change a lot). If

I am a supplier of flexible pick and place equipment, not a end user. Your question is about new pick and place machines with high feeder capacity and SMT lines with redundancy. That is exactly what the C5 Placement machine from Contact Systems is.

Dear James 1)Standby the part for next model. 2)during the convention period, replaced the part for the machines. 3)All the programme are following the CAD data. It's help to reduced the situation. 4)All the feeder must be in the good condition. 5)The

Check your pick height/depth. Check your feeder alignment. We run 0402s at 0.10 tact. We run 0201s at 0.20 tact, but only because I don't require any more throughput - I have placed them at 0.10 during testing, and there are companies that place th

Verifying pick height is a good start. Are you using the proper nozzle (81) and feeder (yellow)? How was the comp lib created? If you continue to have any problems, I would suggest copying an 0402 from the master library. You can also call UIC's tech
