We have in our Co. an used My Data SMT (Version 2.5.4d) machine but we have a problem. After creating the file we import with a flash drive. We load and set the two fiducials and after everything is done we try to EXPORT the PCB file instead of being

I guess, since nobody is using local fiducials anymore, we forgot how to program the fiducials. Was it in the component-package file or in the placement file? Nevertheless, once you find the place, where you enter the fiducial position, you'll find t

I would rather take Bobpan's advise. If the placement is calculated from the center of two fiducials, than the placement should be off by 1/2 of the distance of the two fiducials, but not by the offset of that one fiducial. However, your approach in

It depends on whether the Fiducials are Circuit Fiducials (located on the PCB) or Block Fiducials (located on the Panel) His way would be for Block Fiducials.

Provided your software supports board stretch and the board is stretched in a linear fashion, you should not need fiducials for each image. If you do elect to use local fiducials, Quad recommends a single fiducial. This method is faster and you can

The inner light ring creates a direct light to the fiducial. If you deal with a very shiny fiducial (or board) the light will reflect into the lense, create white spots in the camera CCD chip and make the fiducial shape un-readable. Use the outer li

Hello Fellas, I m looking for some information about Fiducial methodology used in SMT machines. My Machine has two options for fiducial- Pattern Matching vs Center search based on fiducial shape. but I don't understand difference. In both methods we
