Quad IVC backup

Electronics Forum | Mon Jul 06 11:17:56 EDT 2009 | slthomas

xcopy is probably the cheapest way, although it's a manual operation. We just used a batch (.bat) file called "backup" that ran xcopy on our pcb file directories and dumped the copies to a second hard drive on the same pc. If you can't install seco

Pick & Place File Formats

Electronics Forum | Mon Nov 02 23:16:44 EST 2009 | vinitverma

Hi, Basically the software extracts Centroid data from the Gerber automatically. We wish to export the centroid data in different pick and place machine formats so that this file can be imported in the machine directly. To be able to do so I need sa

Hi Mike, Yes you're right! That's why I normally ask for multiple sample files so as get as much information as possible. Your remark about the optimization software is correct. THE product that we are developing will NOT optimize/auto sequence the

Electronics Forum | Sun Apr 11 23:29:39 EDT 2010 | cadcopac

Hi chas, Should you still be in the market for "thru hole to smt conversion" services we are doing this sort of design all the time even converting a supplied stuffed board into gerber files for manufacturing with a parts list and all assembly files

obtain XY data from solder pad gerber drawing????

Electronics Forum | Thu Apr 07 16:11:07 EDT 2011 | davef

You're in the wrong file. You're looking at solder pad data. You need to look at centroid data. Look here: http://i.screamingcircuits.com/docs/understanding-the-centroid-file-r2-2.pdf We have no relationship, nor receive benefit from the company r

Do you have cal. fixture(s)? If not, one 1/2 baked way to get yourself closer quickly is to go into your programs and write down your x/y offsets that you've gained during vision offsets while in production. Compare them - hopefully they are very s

Puzzling CSM84VZ errors, #118 and #120

Electronics Forum | Mon Nov 07 20:52:39 EST 2011 | jeffr

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 18 05:54:02 EDT 2012 | sarason

Have you got some modern software to load the unit. My program PCB Synergy can do some of the Panasonic formats but not this one. It takes less than a day to write if you have some files for me to reverse engineer and the file you read it from. Any
