Does any one know of a Lab which performs mechnical flex testing of boards? I have a problem with ceramic devices cracking, and need to determine how much flex is ocurring to help in stiffiner designs. It would be helpful if the Lab is in the New Eng

I agree with the local fids concept. This is usually a problem since the flex will most likely not have fids. However if your components are 50-mil pitch and 1206 or larger, you could use tooling holes to align the flex circuits when they are attach

I am looking for an alternate support system actually. We are currently using grid-lok supports and previously, we were using form flex. Both are very maintenance intensive. Any literature available on these gel flexes?

Hi, how to automate FR4 sticking one a small section of flex circuit? Currently, we're sticking one by one manually. I need some ideas to improvise, like, loading in 1 flex circuit, then the machine sticks Fr4 onto the flex. Any suggestions please.

Like many others out there I am new to SMT assembly on flex circuits. In the past, we purchased flex assemblies manufactured from a sub-con. Now we will be building internally. Are there any guidelines when building products with flex circuits? Wa
