Are you gluing the parts to the board? We had a similar situation where the glue beneath the component would add a 'fulcrum' point to the center of the device and when the board flexed the part would fracture.

You'd like to think the epoxy holding you pallet together will cure sooner, rather than later, wouldn't you? Sounds strange to us.

Just take care about reflow profile with this kind of product, you can get a bad-formation in your PCB (Flexcable or your flexcircuit) however you want to call... This bad-formations looks like a solderballs (Microscopio) Regards Jesus

We just plant BGA in the paste when we place them with a standard flex machine. You know, just set your placement force to get the balls into the paste. Justin is correct about collapse.

Has anybody used a MLCC Capacitor called Flexicap from Syfer? They claim they can be flexed twice as much as normal MLCC Capacitors. Do they live up to their claims?

The UP3000 & UP3050 are the same machine. The "3050" denotes an options set. The current model is an UltraFlex 3000, which replaced the UltraPrint 3000 series.
