Resistance: Tables of wire gauge often provide a resistance measure of some kind for each gauge. That way we can estimate the resistance of any length of wire we might be interested in. Calculating trace resistance is only slightly more complicated.

I am finding that some of our IC's are coming from the supplier with the humidity gauge in the bag reading 10-20%. Has anybody done any tests to determine what humidty level in a package will cause problems during reflow?

oooff... be careful of punch dies. They leave a lot of debris and can stress components on the PCB. If you're using them, be sure to verify stress levels with a strain gauge test. Semi-fractured components can pass test, yet eventually cause latency

I built one using an old Asymtek Automove. When all was said and done, it cost less than $400, including what was paid for the machine itself. It's a very basic setup, (air over syringe), but for our needs it does everything and more. With air to syr
