| Well my process is I'm running my belt speed at 3.50fpm and about 215 to 225 degrees top side. I got my main wave down to a little less than half the board thickness. I'm not using a hot air knife cause we thought it might create more of a problem

Looking at the original post, it seems that the white residue is formed on the board after wave soldering and becomes evident when it has been left standing for a while. From what I understand, it seems that the solids content of the "no clean" flux

I'd have to disagree with the Electrovert applications guy. I'd recommend SLOWING down the conveyor between .5 to 1 FPM - effectively, you're REDUCING contact length (because contact length = dwell time * conveyor speed), hence getting better peel-o

Mike, We retrofitted all of our waves with USI spray fluxers. We are running no-clean on 4 of our waves, and OA 2331-ZX, reduced specific gravity to .825, on the other 2 With OA you must buy a special spray head to accomadate higher pressure and l

Hi Leadthree, We have a combination of methods depending on volume, value, size, level of build, and what the customer does with them. So on high volume low value we have rigid plastic ESD boxes with lids, foam lined, that layers of custom vac form
