Can we assume from your request for web site info on F_J_ that this was the company that treated you bad. Was your machine registered ?

Does anyone know of a PCB material that is better at preventing arcing than fr4 or g10?
Electronics Forum | Thu Apr 18 16:55:39 EDT 2002 | davef
Yes. Ceramic is much better. We use FR4 in fairly high voltage circuits. What are the particulars? * Where are you arcing * How many layers, prepreg, etc

So, what is 'high voltage'? anywho? * We sort of use 10 kV as the starting point for 'high voltage'. * National Electrical Code defines a much lower starting point (300 or 600 V?),

Is anyone has experience on problems with press-fit on Ni/Au board finish. Connectors pins are SnPb finished. I am particulary interested by experiences or documentation in very agressive environmental conditions (avionics or space buisness) Thanks r

Who issued you the citation and what was the citation based on, a standard of industry, epa or who. I'm curious as well about this citation, personally never heard of such citations and I work in California.

This was a citation issued during an internal audit. I believe that it was besed solely from company policy. I am hot even sure that grounding is an industry standard although OSHA does have some ducumentation pertaining to grounding of flameable was

OSHA standards trump industry standards. OSHA can shut down your factory. The industry can not do bubkes. It's nice to following industry standards, becuase industry likes that.
