Custom made nozzles from our vendor of pick'n'place machines are a bit on the expensive side. Does anyone have any recommendation of third party companies, or a good quality machine shop, that may be able to make us a couple nozzles?

I have dealt with a shop called Count on Tools. They can be found on the net. They make Quad nozzles for a fraction of the cost that Quad/Tyco charges.

Hot tear occurs at the surface of the solder connection. The surface will look like someone tore the surface apart. So, it is a crack or fracture formed prior to metal solidification.

If everything else solders good it has to be the part, Test solderability, insure placement force is correct and as a last resort bake the part.
