HI again Dave, I was wondering what kind of problems you were experiencing with the silicone tape that led you believe that it wasn't the correct tape and question the manufacturer? Were there more failures and solder issues ? Thanks

Hi all, I have a proto build of 3 cards - the 3 cards are being supplied on the same panel. what is the best way to program this on Fuji Flexa - each card will have a lot of the same references e.g C1 , C2 etc... aj...

you can copy board at the panelize option and put the value of width of the first board at y of the second board. use panel fiducial at the mark coordinates

AJ, you are making this harder than it realy is. Import the cad file with the BOM. Then use the panalize function built into Flexa to step and repeat for block 2 and 3. The ref. designators will be tied to each block (board).

Hi All, Does anyone know if there is any standard equipment capable for Ceramic/Alumina based PCB depenaling (cut into odd shape)? I am aware of diamond saw cutter, but it only limit to straight line cut. Thanks. LH

This is a resistance soldering application. I suggest checking with American beauty also known as assembly technologies. http://www.assemblytech.com I believe.

The trick would be to externally pre-heat your Metal cavity to attain sufficient temperature and then to flow in solder. This would ensure proper solder distribution inside the cavity.
