In the contract manufacturing world, every company does it differently. A rule of thumb... Blow up your labor by 100%, and over-charge on your materials. Especially materials. That's how we CM's make our money!

That process does work great Chris, we have done literally thousands of parts like this. Leave a bit of pad outside of daughter board. Russ

We have done everything from exact dupe of BGA pattern, to my fave which is basically a PLCC type size and spacing. We have gone from .8mm tpo whatever the designer wanted. Russ
