Stencil design (maybe old) question...

Electronics Forum | Thu Feb 05 02:34:05 EST 2009 | sachu_70

Hi Manuel, most passives are chip components. These tend to self-center/align during the reflow process. However, you need to ensure that there is a uniform balanced solder paste deposit. I had tried few such ovals in earlier stencil designs and resu

Looking for ionic contamination test lab in Taiwan

Electronics Forum | Wed Feb 04 21:06:07 EST 2009 | shan

I'm looking for test labs in Taiwan that are capable of performing ionic contamination testing on small to medium sized SMT boards. I'm interested in both ion chromatography and ROSE test methodologies. Is anyone aware of any labs performing contami

Any good soldering pallets fabricators to recommend??

Philip, Pl note that there is one more fabricator from Malasia, whom we found to be up to the mark with Wave Soldering Pallets constructed with Durastone/CDM Durastone. They also offer ESD Protected to match ESD guidelines of Assembly & Photo Sensi

Deionized Water Standards

So there is no "DI Water" standard, but what is max conductivity I should have coming from my water before I let it touch the boards? We just installed a DI system in our plant down in Mexico and our water analysis shows we now have HIGHER conductivi

Conductivity is the recprical of resistivity. So, ... * 10 uS = 100k ohm * 5 uS = 200k ohm * 2 uS = 500k ohm We're unsure of the units of your conductivity of "1,566 uS/cm". Also, is that one thousand, five hundred, sixty six?

You may need a glue despinser if you populate bottom side then wave. maybe a board deatacker at front of the line how about a multifunction pick and place machine so you can process all parts out there. we cleaned our stencils for years then we got a

Thanks Dave, I have the correct part number from 3m, but like I said they want to only sell it buy the case, and it's expensive. I was hoping someone might know of a distrubutor that might sell in lesser quanities, or a different brand. It sounds lik

Flexa Prog query

Hi aj, I've never done Flexa programing, but in MCS2 I made it 1C1 for C1 on board 1 and 2C1 for C1 on board 2 etc. I did this in a spread sheet for each board then copy and paste each data set into 1 spreadsheet then saved as text and imported int
