Hi everyone, I am trying to evaluate the cost of buying new equipment. One of the concerns is blade holders, stencil frames and board vacuum tooling. How difficult is to change from Dek to MPM or viceversa without changing all our tooling.

Make a frame that is larger than your largest board, or make a few sizes whatever you chose. Contact Fancort about their modular universal wave fixtures and "enhance" design for reflow, you will get the point when you go look at fancorts website. Ru

Look for a new shield. For the exact reason already mentioned, most shields are available in two piece units. You install the frame when installing everything else... You clip the top on later.

Who is your stencil vendor? I've used three different vendors for Pb-free green frame stencils and NONE of them charged extra.
