Josh: 2222 will meet your requirements. 2221 is a companion to 2222. So, if you're going to try to get your engineers to follow an accepted standard, you might need both. Although, they probably already have both and are just playing dumb with you.

All the pumps, chimneys, innards, and what-not need to be coated in addition to the pot, eh? Many equipment suppliers have "trade-in" deals to swap original pot assemblies with remanufacturered lead-free pot assemblies.

Hi Marcin, I have run a lead free profile on a VIP98 with Indium 5.1AT paste using the following settings:- 120 150 190 190 210 260 270 75cm/min Hope this helps. Lee.

Can someone explain me what the table in the featuerd article "Developing a Reliable Lead-free SMT Assembly Process" is about? I know it has something to do with MSL, but how should these values be interpreted?
