Please your comments for placing 0402 on CP4? Which are the difficulties to expect and how to threat them? How to adapt the feeders for the smaller interdistance of the tape?? Thanks

First off is your CP4 0402 ready? Before we could begin placing 0402's we had to have a vision upgrade. Once you have that or are sure your machine can handle 0402 then you will have to get 8x2 feeders. There may be a way to rig an 8x4 feeder but i'm

Not sure what you mean. 0201's and 0402's are both on 8mm feeders. Juki's will do simultaneous picks an all 8mm feeders no matter the component size. Your feeders need to be maintenanced and calibrated to reliably pick 0402's and 0201's. I hav

Does any one out there know if CSM84V and CSM84VZ can do 0402 parts ? If so, do they actually make 8mmx2mm feeders for these machines. I've had someone tell me they do, but i can't seem to find those feeders anywhere. thank you

Short answer is - not really. According to the manual in Chapter 1-5 Supply devices (Feeders) overview "There are also available an 8mm tape feeder which handles 1005(0402) square chips". I have never seen one. The problem is that even an H nozzle is

We have Samsung and havehad no problems with simultaneous pick ups with 201s 0r 402s. the feeders are durable and do not need much repair especially the sm feeders. The SME feeders have not been out as long so we will see so far so good. As with all

Darby, I'm not completely sure I understand. Juki machines have what is referred to as a multi-head. The offsets between the heads are the same as the spacing between 8mm feeders. So the (6) heads all come down at once and "gang pick" from 6 8mm fee

Thanks Sr. If you have zero tolerance for simul pick up in your component files then you will not have simul pick up due to variances in your head offsets. So you are saying that on your Juki you run a tolerance for 0201? All other head positions at

Sorry for delay - been flat out. Sr - I understand what you are saying. My concern is that combined with the head offsets and variations in pick points (i.e. having to teach feeder positions for very slight amounts like 0.05mm)then you cycle times wi
