We used to clean our stencils by hand as well but 2005 we steped up to a ppc-n29tp stencil ultrasonic cleaner has worked great for us I would suggest a machine cleaning system it gets the stencils more clean then doing it by hand

Found a company that builds modified tool tips for my9 with stainless steel tip. we are going to try one and seen if it helps on placing the 0201 components. the rubber tip just gets damaged too easy and components stick to it do the solder flux.

I am printing solder paste directly onto a QFN device. Any recommendations on the type of solder paste to use? Namely I am concerned about getting a good release from the stencil. Thanks
