Yeah, if I can't get it to run with the standard compatibility options then I'll probably give up but I've been lucky before.

That is amazing nozzle life. One thing you did not mention is the amount of usage. We have a product we run two shifts, 6 days a week; we typically get a month out of one nozzle. We make our own in house.
