We have different Solder mask 'gloss' and 'satin' the gloss has a surface energy =40 dynes. The test evidence to date is strong correlation between surface energy, mask type, HASS failure

Help!!! We are using Fuji CP6 machines. The nozzles use those gloss yellow (sort of fluorescent) disks to provide contrast between the component and nozzle for centring. My operators keep damaging the disks causing the machines to need recalibratio

Yikes!! In-line cleaning, to clean cosmetic and benign residues (from a NO-CLEAN) flux... You sure you can't switch fluxes? Another variable with residues is the solder mask. Depending on mask type (glossy, matte, semi-gloss, or semi-matte), will

I agree with Joris. But to add to his comment, the type of finish also has a direct affect to your wave solder process. Going from a gloss finish to a matte finish may help a lot. As for humidity affecting your wave - I doubt it. I use a water
