Hi Good, that is one of the things I see some have done. With paste too thick these little components float too much off, rather than centering. YiEng, MA/NY DDave

additonally, minimizing the rising rate aroud 183'c and decrease the droping rate(near 0.8'c/s) is also a good way .

A good standard could be 99.7% of Pick up reliability in terms of machine performance, but you should take care of the cost of the parts that you are scraping.

You should really try SMT-Maestro, as it is made especially for this purpose. Good chance that you'll even be happy with the free version ! It's available from http://www.smtinfo.net/smtmaestro.html

I have had very good results from Resys. I got rid of US Filter long ago due to poor service and pricing. James

Is one vendors 0805 thicker than the other? If the height of the parts are different, this could be part of the reason for the shift on only one 0805. Good Luck! Kelly

Hi Kevin, Hepco makes a small unit called a Hepco 3000-2, with the right die set this should be no problem. The unit should retail for around $600.00USD, have a good day. Sincerely, Zack Schmad factory-automation@cox.net

I've never printed adhesive but I assume that aspect ratio still plays a part with release. Maybe that .006" is just to thick to get good release. Can you step your stencil down from .006" to .004" or .005" for the 0402's?
