I am looking for the same. IPC 610D does mention about the solder fill based on the class (A,B,C). But, there is no exhaustive study that I have come across. Please let me know if you find any. KT

Are you using a standard convection reflow oven ? This does not make any sense. I have never heard of anything like this. If you are using a standard oven, then I would say that it is time to get your profiler calibrated.

Tx, Your spec limit is the point at which you expect to see a failure. In other words, what is the probability that you'll see a short when you have .008" of solder paste? What is the probability that you'll see an open if you have .004" of solder

Hello Micheal We are looking for the procedure at this time. And there is no tactile sensor on any SPM made by MPM. The SPM's does not have sensor's on the head either. Any way we will send the procedures and the calibration blocks soon. harry
