I have no experience with Assembleon or Ipulse but we have run an older model Mydata machine for several years now. Mydata has good tech support and their machines work well with a medium to high product mix, i.e. short change over times between job

I only have it here as a storage favour, have never run it. For lead free, I made a 2nd pot for my wave solder identical and we switch when required. Pete

I would have to agree with Mike. All our boards from Taiwan are good. Most boards we get form China have board related issues.

I would have to second the opinion on the water based flux. If you don't want to deal with the solder balls, switch to an alcohol based flux. Unless you have a board that takes a while (water based tends to stay active longer), alcohol is easier to

We have 3 1818's running in our shop. The only hookups we have are air regulated to 85psi, vacuum and power. The machine will not power up with air less than 40 psi.

We have had one in our facility for 2 and 1/2 years. Running it 24/7 Monday - Friday and some weekends as well. Have not had one bit of trouble. Rock solid Fuji.
