Quad IVc AutoProgram

Electronics Forum | Fri Apr 05 07:17:55 EDT 2013 | leemeyer

I've never seen one but i've been told that there is a 2 tier vib plate where the top plate is set back a bit so that the nozzle can pick from the top and bottom plate. OK so you have the plates on the machine and have entered their coordinates. Cl

Quad IVc AutoProgram

Electronics Forum | Mon Apr 08 07:20:56 EDT 2013 | leemeyer

What operating system are you using ? I have found that you need to stay with a DOS based operating system. I am running DOS 6.2 with windows 3.11. I tried win 98 and although it seemed to run properly, I would have problems in the final program. XP

ERSA Selective Solder questions

Electronics Forum | Mon Apr 29 12:32:18 EDT 2013 | stephendo

Do you watch when it is doing the wave height test? Watch it and see if it goes up to the same spot on the test probe each time. If the test probe is dirty sometimes the solder has to go up higher on it before it gets detected. You might actually be

Electronics Forum | Fri May 24 09:34:57 EDT 2013 | markhoch

I run the same profiles for Top and Bottomside assemblies for all of my products. Only in rare instances have I been forced to run a profile with cooler bottom zone settings. This was obviously driven by assemblies with heavier components on the bott

I think we are all on the same page with this one. Since you ran from 96 until now without any issue I'd say that now you know what causes the problem, make a note of it for next time and move on. I have found with our older machines that "if it ai

I currently run the HLC software suite with a 750/760 line and another 2060 line. For the 750/760 line I have to stick with the older HLC, version 4.5 I believe, which I actually run inside of a Windows 98 virtual PC using a dongle emulator. The 20
