A 20 x 20 frame with the image centered will drop in IF you have a printer with adjustable rails for the stencil, the rails move in and out to accomodate 29 x 29 to smaller than 20 x 20. Otherwise, you will need the adapter. James

We're not current in recommending suppliers, but we have discussed nitrogen storage previously here on SMTnet. Search the Archives to get started.

Hi, I am having some problem during reflow of solder paste. There seems to be leaching of solder paste. Can anyone let me know some solutions to minimize it . Rgds Indraneel

We had this problem not long ago and changed to the remountable foils. They are as good as the orignals but they cost less and are practical to store. All our stencils come from DEK and they have a nice little (overpriced) cupboard, if you're working

We have been using unmounted stencils for 4 years. Easy to store and less expensive. Our stencil supplier gave us a pair of universal mounts for our printers. Watch the sharp edges. We haven't had any cuts but the potential is always there.

We have used them for 6 years now. No issues. The frames are not universal so you need to pick one vendor. IIT has done a great job for us and the standard turn is 2 days for laser cut for $150.00.

DEK have this new system called VectorGuard, which are remountable foils with protective edges - worth a look and may save the odd finger!

If you are interested in building or having someone build a storage unit, I will send you a photo of what I use. Let me know. Doug

AP24X is old model. Some parts are getting hard to come by. Check if the vision system is Cognex 2000 or 5000 and what the computer is. It may have been upgraded. Otherwise, its a good printer.

If an OEM and room is available on the PCB....have pin location aids silk screened on the boards. Groups of 10 are typical. might look like 1.........10.........20.........30 continue this around the device. Otherwise, ???
