Does your camera / stopper move to a spot where it can catch the boad when the middle sensor is triggered? It sounds like you may have your board stop coordinates wrong. Check your X measurement to be sure.

I persoanlly have noticed issue with either method, only time I run into issues with trays is when they get baked at too high of temp and warp. Russ

We are into PCB testing and one of our customers has expensive foreign equipments whose warranty period has expired. He is looking to have them repaired locally. We found most of the problems are with the PCBs.

I came across a place in Israel that guaranteed their work (we didn't have schematics either), but they were a little pricey for us. Let me know if you're interested. I think they started at about $2500.

I have always locked the setpoint at 130-135F 135 being hte max temp most media beds can handle. If you breach/exceed 140 the media will break down or gum up which will cause many probelms for you.

I have a small board with two through hole and two SMTs. Is it easier to manufacture with the SMTs on the top or bottom? Thanks, John
