Davef, We have BGA (removed from PCBA). We have Cleaned up the pads. Instead of reballing can we directly mount on the Prime PCB like QFN. Thanks Martin

When applying the ECCOBOND E3503-1 thermal adhesive to attach a HB-LED to the slug area of a MCPCB, should the OSP coating on the slug area first be removed? I have heard that OSP coatings have poor adhesion properties so I'm wondering how to do this

We have the same concerns about using OSP with adhesives. On the other hand, some suppliers claim their products work with OSP. This have to be handled on a case-by-case basis. How well does OSP transmit heat? It's quite thin.

This happens on the counting area which it is > into warehouse , Have you confirmed that? Have you seen empty pockets? Or are you taking someone's word for that? How many extra parts does the stockroom give to SMT to cover droppage?

do you not have a problem with flux seperating from when it was chilled? due to our high mix low volume we really cant afford to have solder paste waiting for an hour or so till its ready before we can build

Just how cold do you store your paste? And what are your solder paste reps like? Here they fall over each other giving support for their paste. And have you seen the problem with flux separation or have you only heard about it?
