Has anyone had success utilizing the lifted lead/ height checker feature on a Mirtec MV-7L. We recently had two separate events where the machine did not detect a lifted lead using the ic/bridge inspector. The soldering results came back with out def

Does anyone have a comprehensive manual or some pages on how to setup/how the laser height functions work on a Mirtec MV-7U? (Mirtec Inspector 4.5.6) Even a sentence describing what each input for these tools do would be amazing. I FINALLY was able

Did you ask Mirtec? When we were ready to buy a Mirtec they asked if we needed more than normal clearance height. I do not know if this would be retrofitable but maybe you could ask. Jerry

You required the process control equipments. 1) Paste Height Checker: To measure the solder paste thickness after printing. 2) Temperature Profiler: To measure the reflow oven temperature whether is within the control spec.

Hi there!! You know what your QA is doing is right, coz by measuring the solder paste height can avoid the following defects: 1.Insufficient solder 2.Short solder or bridging 3.Solder balls SPC monitoring for paste height checking is required

AOI systems are a LONG way from being practical. You might impress potential customers (if you are a contract manufacturer) But they are basically an over-priced gimmick. Get your processes in line, buy a good 3D paste height checker, verify componen

There is a field retrofit to increase the 25mm (0.98425") standard clearance up to 45mm (1.77165"), its not quite the 2", but close. You will have to recreate your component library though. For more details, contact Mirtec tech support at http://www.

I have used Mirtec MV-7 inline for post reflow solder inspection in the past, with Laser check for lead height (QFP) Very fast and great support. I have no connection, and receive no compensation from Mirtec. 'hege
