there is no exemption specifically relaiting to agriculture in the directive that i know of. What kind of equipment? might be fall into some other exemption?

It's probably covered more by the ELV directive. However, since I don't make products for that industry, I haven't looked into the specifics of that directive. If you haven't researched that directive, I would suggest you do.
