Will they give you the opportunity to develop a DOE to look at quality vs. print life? It probably depends on the kind of placement equipment you have, but with our chipshooters we always had missing/misplaced parts if we populated dried out boards.

Look on the bright side you will only have to store pasted boards overnight in the fridge, one time. Just make sure you reflow one such board before you waste time populating any others.

Really . . . 40,000 Euro for a new Heller 7 zone oven? Sounds too good to be true. Anyway, if thats the case I would not invest 20K to reapir a 10 year old oven.

You likely will not get 10 years of service out of the Heller and it is certainly not as well built as the VIP-98. If those things do not matter to you and it's all about the money then you sound like the perfect Heller customer.
