SPC control-Wave soldering

Hi all, If we are using non clean flux, what are the wave soldering parameters that we should monitor using SPC control chart? If not mistaken pre-heat is one of the important parameter that we should control.. Thanks, Sean

Check your DIP switch settings on new driver. Not sure about calibration. Try QMPM for password.

Thank you very much SWAG that password did the trick. Got us into the calibration menu and we were able to calibrate the z-axis and snugger height and got it to work. Thanks again

Maybe it will sound a little obsolete, but I need to know if there is or where to get a software package to be used with a CAM/ALOT dispenser for solder paste. Is there a dedicated program or any kind of gerber translator out there?

Yes, it is centered, in fact is the same product we run everyday, problem shows up after maintenance was performed.

We have this problem typically after a PM is performed and it is usually due to too much grease on the linear guide.

you gotta ask WHY? thankfully dont place these but I wud imagine you have referenced the datasheet for solder thickness etc. How is your placement? You say ypu place 17 of these? are you seeing shorts on all of them or a select few? aj
