This socket supplier never expected you to do what you're doing to his/her part. Some materials bear-up under the thermal strain of reflow solder than others. Try different socket materials.

I would try contacting DEK directly. As of last year, DEK fully supported these older generation machines. (Which is more than I can say for some OTHER screenprinter manufacturer. No, I won't name names)
