Agreed, on some components we have seen a "brownish tint" after reflow it doesn’t happen on all of our resistors it only appears to be on the leads, and have also seen the purpleish tint on some other 2512 components

My problem is that a 10k 0805 chip looks fine next to a 100k 0805 that is brown.

I am looking into pick and place machines that are spec'd to place 01005 components. Does anyone know of a inexpensive make(50 - 75K $ new) that can place these parts. So far all that I have found are 150K and up. Thanks

I have some 13" long boards that warp considerably during first pass through reflow (no center support), what I've done to improve this type of warpage is stiffeners along the front and back edge. This may help with twisted boards as well.
