It's been long time, me memories are fading away. If I remember correctly, you would need small flat surface plate or something to cover up the "linescan" hydra camera, so from the reflections value then it can calculates the actual height "lowest"

It didn't see the ref points on the bottom of the hydra head. start by checking the camera for dirt or dropped parts. Is it a hydra camera or Linescan?
