Hi is me again If what you are looking is for the AOI to "see" the marking on a resistor theres the option of taking a picture of only the numbers in the resistor is not highly accurate but it works.

IPC-610 should tell you if the joint is suspect. I would tend to think they would not have any negative effect.

How deep is the indent? I would say as long as it is hitting nothing but net (the solder fill), your fine. Besides, you should notice indents on your solder fillets of components on the top-side as well. This is also expected and acceptable.

Good morning Mark, No issues around the masking at this point. The issue seem to be in open areas as well as between clad runs. We are using Humiseal 1A33 Conformal Coat.

if you don't have anything obstructing the camera then it sounds like it could be the camera power supply going bad. what version of tpsys are you running?

Did you teach the reject mark? Sounds like a lighting issue when looking for the white sticker. You can also skip images by pressing control-repeat after the machine has found fiducials. Good luck
