Printing paste through screeen mesh versus stencil

Hopefully this is not a stupid questions but, if you are printing low tech surface mount boards, is it possible to print through a mesh screen versus a stencil? Isn't that the way it used to be done? Like soldermask only stainless steel versus polyes

I need to profile a single sided board thats width is less than the profiler. Is there a difference in profiles when one is completed using the rail conveyor versus just laying the board and profiler on the mesh conveyor?

You are 100% correctomuno. It is perfectly reasonable to use screens in printing paste.

Yes, there will be a difference. When the board is on the rail conveyors it is closer to the top heaters and farther away from the bottom heaters than when on the mesh conveyor. That difference will create different temperatures on both sides of yo

If I remember correctly, (it's been about 15 years since I've had to do it), it's a weaving process. You weave a link in through the broken section and then adjust the tensionor. It's fun! (not really)
