I have used the Fluke 53 (single channel) and 54 (2 channel) hand-held units. You can get the model 54 for about $300 if you shop around. Is this too much?

Go see http://www.smsinternational.com/index.cfm. Their package "LineControl" was written to suit any model Philips/Yamaha ever made. The same package can talk to most other machine brands. Regards Jeff R.

I purchased a used machine that came with no manuals. Does anyone know how I can get them? The manufacturer said it's a discontinued model and there is no paperwork on it. Thanks

Starting out, get a Vmole from ECD if you are worried about the cost. Fairly inexpensive, and you get a good in oven profiler, decent software that allows you to do some prediction and profiling tracking and lots of oven models preinstalled.
