F-MOT-MOVE X/156

To isolate the MOT failure, try swapping the MOT card with another MOT card. If the failure moves, then the problem is in the card. If the failure does not move, the MOT card is not your problem. If the MOT card is not the issue, then your problem

F-MOT-MSETDYN Theta/12: No axis movement detected by transducer

Electronics Forum | Tue Feb 18 14:46:38 EST 2020 | bilalfarooqi

Hi all, We were able to fix the issue. We replaced the MOT cards with the MOT cards in the good machine. That, however, did not resolve the issue. The issue was very basic; one of the fuses (fi fuse) located to the left of the MOT cards became open.

I'm surprised MyData is pushing the service call. They're usually pretty good at walking you through some troubleshooting steps before going straight to the service call. So, the failure sounds like an encoder failure; the encoders are attached to

Mydata TP9-2U error ?

Electronics Forum | Thu Aug 22 11:30:47 EDT 2019 | rgduval

It's a motor controller card error. I'm not completely sure, but, it seems like something in the x. Swap MOT1 with MOT2 or 3, and see if the error moves. If it does, you have a bad MOT card. If it doesn't, you have something going on with a motor

Start by checking cables. Odd that the C-motor would initialize, but, then, theta fails when you move the Z-motor. Sounds like something's got a loose connection somewhere. Possibly in the connector going into the C-motor. If that's a no-go, try
