Obviously the more expensive route, but have you considered a router?

Punch dies are also expensive, inflexible and the punches need to be maintained for sharpness.

If you go with tabs/mouse bites, both FKN and Cab make simple pneumatic shears for removing the tabs. For low to moderate volumes, they're very cost effective. MikeMcM

Could always get a laser cutter to de-panelize with. I've always wanted one, personally...but, haven't been able to cost justify it. ..rob
