Networking Panisonic SMT Equipment

Electronics Forum | Tue Mar 05 14:35:15 EST 2002 | slthomas

I don't know much about it, but I know that we at one time had the capability. We don't use it now, however. We have 3 MSHII's, and apparently there's a card that needs a dip switch turned on (the MMC card, maybe?), and a new firmware rev. if they

Cutting 24 mm Feeder Tape

Electronics Forum | Wed May 08 10:05:42 EDT 2002 | Claude_Couture

Maybe the problem is not the cutter, but the arm that advance the tape in the adjacent feeder gets actuated at the same time as the active feeder. line-up a feeder in pickup position visually, then turn the crank until the roller or feeder advance me

Re: Panasoinc MV/MSH feeders

Electronics Forum | Tue Sep 28 17:38:28 EDT 1999 | JAS

| Can anyone tell me how a Panasoinc MV feeder and a MSH feeder compare in terms of component sizes and placment speeds? I was told that MV feeders can run on an MSH although they take up 2 slots. I'd appreciate the help. | | Regards, | | Jason R

SIEMENS + PANASONIC

Electronics Forum | Mon Aug 24 20:18:51 EDT 1998 | S. L. Vito

I am studing the possibility of a line with one Siemens SIPLACE 80 F and a PANASONIC machine (cam be a MSH-G3 or MVIIF (m) or MSHII (m)). I have several reasons to do this, but i would like to know more details about operating this kind of line. Can

Machine feeder setup reduction

Electronics Forum | Tue Oct 09 14:59:52 EDT 2001 | slthomas

That's what we do with our MSHII's...setup one carriage offline while the other one runs. We also have setup carts to load the feeders ahead of time and haul them out to the lines. Of course, when we exceed the carriage capacity of 75 slots for an

HOW TO REDUCE MACHINE COMPONENT ATTRITION?

Electronics Forum | Wed Mar 21 11:52:56 EDT 2007 | slthomas

Mark, the only Panasonics I've worked with were MSHIIs and an MPAV2B and at this point I'm foggy on both, but both tracked component inspection errors quite well. You should be able to tell how many parts are rejected for thickness inspection errors

Panasonic p&p programming

Electronics Forum | Thu Dec 13 10:44:37 EST 2007 | slthomas

Since no one has responded I'll give you what little I know. My last place of employment used MSH-IIs and an MPAV-2B. As far as I know there is no optimisation capability at the machine like there is with your Topaz. The programmer used Panasonic

Re: converting from 0805's to smaller packages

I don't know the specs. of our MSHII's, as I'm sort of detached from that part of the process, but supposedly they are capable. Panasonic also recommends we buy all new feeders (well, big surprise there), because of the risks involved with retrofitti
