We have the same machines and same software. We have not seen this problem. I agree, sounds like your hard drive is taking a dump.

You might want to look into one of the machines from Europlacer or Mydata that have very high feeder capacities(200 or more) and intelligent feeders. They were designed for minimal change over time in high mix environments.

Dave, you�re probably looking for a bar-code tracking system. Mydata actually has this function built into their software. You can search by part number and it will tell you even across multiple machine if your share info.

You can't do it. The pitch of the tape advancing sprocket is not the right pitch on a TM8 magazine. You need a TM8FC magazine.

TM8 Magazines step 4mm min. You need a TM8FC or Agilis. You can make a tray and pick from strips of tape too.
