As well as checking board supports you may want to check your nozzles and make sure there not stuck up in the windmill.

Why are you unable to place this part with your Machine. Part to big? No pick up point( nozzle landing area )? No Feeder? Vision recognition? If we know why you can't place it, we might have a fix.

What version is your firmware?? This error can be caused bt something as simple as the background nozzle disks. Are you using the old style or the new vinyl ones?

Phil- As Pete correctly pointed out, the early Spray Fluxers that Sensbey provided with their machines were designed by AT&T and used a similar head and nozzle design to a spray paint gun. We had good success with them.

Our manual and semiautomatic pick an place machines are suitable for all low volume tasks, fine pitch included, thanks to a special break system, guiding the manual mooving of the nozzle. Have a look at http://www.harotec.ch Hermann

Kevin If you want to go automated then why not take a look at the Philips ACM. It is the flagship for placing SMT and Oddform packages. We use Vacuum nozzles and Grippers to handle many truly oddform components.

Hi. The towel was red and white as the Japanese flag ! The issue was addressed to Fuji Japan and was handled there. Vision type 11 and 12 do not allow protruding nozzles, so for 0603 (1608) they can't be used. Regards Brian

Before I waste a lot of time and parts..... Will the Fuji CP3 place a melf diode without a special nozzle? If so, what size would you reccomend for best accuracy?

Thanks, I'll try the 1mm first. So there IS a MELF nozzle? Iwould try the IP2 but they came on a big reel and I have no feeders for that.

Yeah, there's a MELF nozzle. Check with Fuji or one of the many after-market guys, mostly Asian suppliers. Big reel, no big deal, unravel it and reload in 7" reels.
