It sounds like the vac-verify is not working. There is a command on the hht to turn it off. When turning off your hht will show either 'idle' or enter command' without the V showing anymore. Maybe try the cntrl and vacuum or shift and vacuum. If its

Tape test to check adhesion and multiple point thickness test - each board has 5 points per side documented for thickness testing & we measure pre & post coating thickness with an electronic meter. Also temp & humidty are also logged, and alarms go o

Snap off is an option to make distance between PCB and stencil. If the distance not enought, adjust the PCB thickness too. Mostly we don't use snap off, I more prefer if the stencil is tight with the PCB - I know, this make the stencil lifetime worst

Sounds like air pressure is set O.K. The next thing to check is that the platen surface that the x and y axis ride on is perfectly clean. After that, you should knock the camera off the platen and make sure that all of the small air nozzles are blo

We manufacture similar equipment. I would recommend that most of the testing be performed in an automatic shut-off mode. There are potential issues with both methods, automatic shut-off and fixed time tests. In an automatic shut-off mode, the cl

Thank you ChrisW. I agree completely. The decision to idle the temperature or turn the wave off is primarily a function of machine utilization. Period. The utilization % break even point for idle vs. turning the heat off is calculated by comparing th

Individual process steps are approximately the same length of time for reworking a BGA. You seem to be comparing the use of the automated SMT line versus an off line rework station. Consider that the off line station is a complete paste print, pick

Thank you ENIAC for your comments Here is another problem (JUKI KE-750L) Which applies to 0603 (1608 metric) resistors and only resistors (mind you the board is more heavily populated with resistors) After the panel has gone through the oven, Wh

Hi everyone, I was recently trying to troubleshoot a bad floppy driver on our QSV-1, which actually worked, I was able to read floppy drives but for some reason it all went downhill when one of the green LED's turned off and another red LED turned on
