You may have to use an adaptor board. A small board with one footprint on one side and the other on the other side. Do not assume that the pin outs of the two parts are the same. I have seen smaller parts with a different pin out than the bigger part

Hey All. I figured it out. It turns out that the problem was simply a loose coupler on the x wagon motor transducer. I had only checked one screw in the past but the other screw was apparently loose as well.

the glass is to keep dust out. Now that it is off the dust is already in. Leave the glass off and just run it. If you have a problem 6 months down the road then take dry air and blow it out.
