What?!?1?!? I use the same oven for both. Doesnt' effect anything cause everything taste OK. Gotta be carefull of wires cause they can burn and catch fire. Speaking of, time to hit the bar.

Have seen this problem on other types of oven and it was caused by failed solid state relays that energise the heaters.

I did not tried this before (never hada chance to do it) but I considered such option - maybe try using temporary wavesolder mask on such small components. Run both sides of PCB through SMT oven and then mask 0402 completely and go with wavesoldering

I am using Humiseal 1B31 conformal coating and xylene mix on a PVA coating machine. Bubbles are appearing between the pins of LCCs mainly and bubbling is worse when put through the IR oven. Does anyone have any suggestions or tips to elliminate this

I would also suggest looking at your ramp rate in the cure oven. We noticed that accelerated heating increased the "gas out" of the solvent. We run 1A33 and and do not exceed a .5/degC ramp rate.

Hi, using a nitrogen should give you different solder joints, than using just air. The joints should be more shiny and clear. With air they should remain more blurry. Emil

I mean compressed air... But what is the difference between dull and shiny joints? Is it better electric conduct? Does the N2 obstruct voids i.e. ??? Thank you for your answers.

Anyone, We have a fault on our BTU VIP98 reflow oven. At present NONE of the zones are heating up, even though all the SSR's appear to be working and we have voltage at the elements and the fans are all working. Anyone got any pointers? Thanks in ad
