You need a KIC profiler whitch is able to find optimal profiles for your boards. The KIC works very well with the Heller ovens. With the KIC is also possible to find one good profile for different boards. Get in contact with KIC +1-858-673-6050

You oven guys are SOOOO sensitive! I must agree though, the oven profile made nowhere near the difference that the Homeplate did, in our place.

Rob: Wouldn't that only apply to IR ovens. If using a true convection oven the color of the material wouldn't hinder output at all "Right". Dont want to see someone spend money on new tooling if unnecessary.

Load Factor = Board Length / (Board Length + Space) (you can get the maximum loading factor from the manufacturer, usually ranges from 0.5 to 0.9) Oven Throughput = (Conveyor Speed x Load Factor) / Length per Board

With the low volume and low parts mix Quad 100's, Quad IIIC"s or Quad IVC's would be a low cost method of placement. As for ovens most any 5 to 7 zone oven will work for you. Thanks,
